I hate Vista!

Just kidding...I actually quite like Vista, it's responsive looks pretty and I just love the Sidebar, even though I thought I would hate it...it's quite addictive having system info, stock prices and links to BBC Radio Streams!
Oh, any by the way if you've noticed that the posts are a bit flat...well the obslete version of Community Server I'm running doesn't like IE 7.
Having said that I like Vista, I should say I have a couple of issues with it...the most annoying is the way Media Center (I'm using Vista Ultimate which has the Media Center functionality built in) works with dual monitors...it really doesn't and I can't figure out why we left it like that!
All I want is to be able to have a full-screen TV picture through MCE on one screen whilst I use the net / write some toy code on the other...but that isn't possible right now, oh and the flashing screen when I try to use a reduced MCE window makes life very unpredictable in that mode. Hopefully we'll fix it soon!
Then one which is really bugging me right now is with Apple iTunes, trying to add a bunch of files to the library invariably crashes the thing with a very nasty Visual C++ 6.0 runtime error...ah well maybe by the time we release Vista to the wild other vendors will fix their apps.

Try MediaMonkey and ephPod [I used mine as a data back up device though] Awesome iPOD accessory, iTunes is a useless hog. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EphPod Great Music Organizer for busy people like me: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mediamonkey
