MSDN will you PLEASE sort out the TOC frame for non-IE browsers

It just seems like bloody-mindedness, even their snazzy new TOC doesn't seem to bother supporting Mozilla based browsers (especially love on the test page - 'just click on the link on the upper left' - in my browser, no link). OK, so I can see the 'use IE' point here (so, trying to force users to use their own browser) but it is REALLY annoying. Especially whn you feel ill (come on people, feel sorry for me, I'm burning up here!)

I totally agree with you and in fact on that beta sample they give you from the link above you dont even get a "show TOC" button in Firefox. Now I appreciate it is beta code but to not even to bother to implement it for non-IE browsers is quite disgraceful really. The old TOC used to be so bad in Firefox that when I used it for a while I always used to launch up IE to go to MSDN. I switched back to IE permanently because it is one of the sites i visit on a daily basis.

However a bigger bugbear on this subject is that MSN messenger completely ignores your default browser setting and launches any link from a chat window inside IE no matter what your settings. So bad.

It'd be nice if they'd support Opera as well. All along though, if you have Opera identify as IE, then you can browse MSDN (it's not an ideal experience, but it works). If you have Opera identify as Opera, then you can't view MSDN pages. (See http://slashdot.org/articles/03/02/06/1645229.shtml?tid=109 if you're bored....)
